보름 Full moon (2025. ink on korean paper. 130X130) 모든 것은 그저 가니 오고 만나니 분리되고 끝나니 시작된다. 내가 그려대고 적어대는 것도 무엇으로부터의 어떤 자극에 대한 반응일 것이다. 솜사탕이 둥글등글 커지듯이 그때그때의 내 반응들이 나라는 존재의 부피를 빙글빙글 늘려간다. 그럼에 일방진행의 시간이란 것은 없다. 한 방향을 향해 가는 것이 아니라 모든 것을 향해 가는 것이고 우주가 팽창함과 함께 우리의 시간도 사방으로 팽창하며 원을 그린다. 인간은 필멸의 존재이지만 그 필멸은 흔적 없는 무화(無化)가 아니라 다시금 거대한 검정으로 돌아들어가 둥그런 기류로서 침묵하게 되는 것이다. 다음의 생성을 위한 수월래 제식에 동참하는 것이다. Everything simply comes and goes, meets and separates, ends and begins. Even what I draw and write down is a response to some stimulus from something. Just as cotton candy grows round and round, my each reaction expands the volume of my existence. Therefore, there is no such thing as one-way time. It does not move in one direction, but towards everything, and as the universe expands, our time expands in all directions, drawing a circle. Humans are mortal, but that mortality does not mean a traceless nothingness. Instead, it returns to the vast blackness and becomes silent as a circular current.
